Description

This is a poem to my dad. He comes from an era where women and children were seen and not heard. He's a good man in many ways, and I adore him immensely, but our differing views affect our relationship.

(I have not kept track of where I found the moon brush that i used, nor the night sky. Please let me know if you know who they belong to and I will adhere to their wishes.)

This is my poem, please do not use it without my permission.

I have family and friends in the LBGT community,I didn't know for years, but when I found out, I loved them even more. No one ever told me about the other types of human sexuality and when I learned of them I was happy that there could even be such beautiful diversity amongst us. I am currently part of the GSA at my college. I am straight but I find aspects of both genders attractive. I find my self attracted to transgendered people as well. For example, there's this guy I met at my college's halloween dance. He's transgendered and a total sweet heart. I liked him for his his inner beauty but also because he looked damn good as a female ( he was dressed up at the party). If he ever gets the complete operation ( right now he's considering hormone therapy and not liking current surgical procedures), I could see my self with him. I told him I would be there if he ever needed to vent and I meant it. Regarding your poem, as a child of divorced parents myself I feel especially empathetic towards the strain separation puts on children. I hope they are doing well, and wish your family much love and happiness. Please feel free to read my journal entry. I would very much love to hear from you. Happy holidays.
