This is a poem that I wrote after seeing so many lesbian women, living their lives as though they agreed with a homophobic society. It is a saddness, not a judgement, because we all once believed the "lie" that is homophobia.

My partner likes my poem, but she may well be biased!! So feel free to offer your comments. This is my first poem on here.

I thought it was nice but sometimes it's not that I/they/we agree with a homophobic society.. sometimes it's a fear of said society.. it can be cruel out there and the closet is such a comfortable place to be especially for those who aren't quite as brave as you seem to be.
